First of all, allow me to define youth, according to my dictionary :
*ahem, a huge dictionary I have*
So what's on your mind when you think of your needs/ wants as a youth?
#1. TO BE LOVED?
#2. MONEY?
#3. FAME?
Or a perfect curve & maybe muscles!
Or a smart brain to let you ace all the tests?
Well, we're all unique humans so I believe different youths have different wants/ needs.

But what makes me, ME? A YOUTH?
*drum rolls*
For myself being a youth,
I believe that to venture and to experience is vital.
Specifically, venture refers to an undertaking involving uncertainty as to the outcome, a risk.
Experience ,in simpler terms, is to participate in. (Dictionary.com)
Time is precious and I know I don't have a second to waste.
Therefore, I would always want to take on new challenges and in turn, acquire new skills.
No doubt, it's common that everyone likes to enjoy, especially youth.
We allow ourselves to indulge in Facebook and computer games for hours &
don't give a damn about the tough world out there.
Well, here's something to share :
Because the truth is we can enjoy WHILE participating & taking risks in life.
Plus, youths like us are able to rely on the joy from our interests, hobbies and communities!

Apart from that, we could always learn from our mistakes, and apply the lessons in other situation.
Success & happiness are available to everyone who is willing to actively pursue them.
To sum it up, there are a lot more to learn from the society.
At the end of the day, after experiencing different outcomes,
we'll eventually know that we ARE capable of overcoming obstacles and achieving goals.
In brief, these experiences in the days of our youth can make a difference in our life.
Together, we work towards creating programmes, activities and opportunities for the development of the youths. Let their voices heard, their participation needed, and make them feel important part of our nation. - Our youth.my
